Worldwise Education, Inc. creates sustainable revenue streams for schools with products and services that showcase student artwork and personal expression. We also are developing an online site that connects teachers to school supplies for free or very low cost. Our principal products are papered-art products, greeting cards, sold under our Artwork for Education brand.
Our model is based on using the power of consumer spending to connect parents and stakeholders in the back-to-school market to opportunities that create revenue for schools and increase opportunities that help kids learn.
The Company has been in business for four years. Revenue last year exceeded $800,000. This year's revenue will be $1.7 million with operating income of $500,000.
The model has been proven in the marketplace. Over 400 schools are currently participating and cards created by students in these schools are for sale in certain Whole Foods Markets in So. Calif. as well as other retailers in New England.
To date, our products have raised well over $1 million for just a handful of schools, and additional capital is needed to grow our sales force to reach more schools and retailers.
Founders, friends and family have invested close to $2 million since 2004 and the Company is offering 2 million shares to accredited investors at $1.00 per share representing a 20% stake.
