This unique combination gives me the insight on how to design exercise equipment that actually works without causing injuries. Currently I need to market my product to manufacturers and a possible licensing contract. In order to do this I need capital to pay marketing firms to approach possible licensses and clients. Recently, I have created and patented my first invention called the Dumbbell Spotter. A device that eliminates the need for a human spotter when lifting dumbbells. It is different from any other patented design and has 12 unique claims. In order to market the product properly I must employ an expert marketing company as well as directly contact the primary target market. (football teams) From High-schools to Pro NFL. This product is vital to the proper exercise safety of players on all levels. My marketing campaign is two phase operation: A) target local high schools and colleges. B)target professional interest (NFL and Canadian) to give the product signature recognition. I estimate the cost of funding the first stage of this venture at $50k and then following it up with an infomercial campaign costing another $100k for the second phase. I am willing to share the royalties with any interested investor. Six high schools have already ordered 16 units. For every 10k I am offering 1 percent of net royalties.
